This is the first ever solo release by Stephen Beaupré, after he surfaced on the Montreal Smoked Meat compilation a couple of years back, and in his more familiar, regular role as one half of the Crackhaus duo, has made a number of albums. Dirty Lipreading is a journey through weird yet still fully sensual grooves. “My old lady” already featured on Akufen’s own fabric mix cd, and its good electrohouse fare, with that now familiar Risquée twist. 'Fidicinflop' and 'Aji Pebre' maintain the restless, bumptious energy on more skewed and fun jacking tracks, with the bassier and 'Aji Pebre' particularly standing out.
